Project & calendar
One shared day calendar, no timezone conversion. Tasks reserve selected resources for their full duration in working days; weekends/holidays pause the work. No part-day allocation or separate person calendars.
People & shared capacity
An owner is a label. Select a shared resource on a task to enforce availability; assigning an owner alone does not reserve that person.
Resource unavailable dates
Intervals are inclusive. Use leave, maintenance or an existing commitment to reserve units.
Work breakdown
Finish-to-start dependencies use task IDs. Milestones have zero duration. Progress is self-reported; scheduling uses full task durations from project start. A blocked task and its descendants receive no forecast until resolved. Due dates are targets; late finishes are flagged.

Precedence-only critical path reference
This separate CPM calculation ignores resource capacity, blocked status and due dates. Zero-slack activities are critical to that reference model, not necessarily to the resource-leveled forecast.
