What is LuniPDF? (What)
LuniPDF is a suite of private PDF and image utilities for combining, splitting, arranging, signing, watermarking, converting and stripping photo location information.
When should you use LuniPDF? (When)
Use it to prepare application documents, combine scans, convert compatible photos, or remove hidden photo location metadata before sharing.
Where can you use LuniPDF? (Where)
Go to /lunipdf/ in a browser on a supported desktop or mobile device. Some repeated use may require a paid plan. Open the tool or explore other Lunibyte guides.
How do you use LuniPDF? (How)
Choose the correct PDF or image tool, select your local files, apply the desired action, download the result and reopen it independently to verify each page or image. Evaluate the benefits in your own context; a local-first design does not replace your responsibility to review outputs.
Why use LuniPDF? (Why)
It supports common document tasks without requiring a third-party upload-and-convert service to hold the original files.
Important limitations
Keep originals. Some operations may change formatting or image fidelity. A drawn signature is not identity verification; confirm free versus Pro use limits.
Meet LuniPDF: 12 Private PDF Tools, Zero Uploads — Our Biggest Update Yet
Big news, and we are not going to whisper it: the PDF tool formerly known as NoUpload is now LuniPDF — a new name that says exactly what it does, on a toolbox that has quietly grown into the most complete private PDF suite we have ever shipped. Twelve tools. One address. And the promise that made people love it in the first place is untouched: your files never leave your device.
If you have ever uploaded a contract, a tax form, or a scan of your passport to a random conversion website and felt a small knot in your stomach, LuniPDF was built for you. Everything runs in your browser, with your own computer doing the work. No upload. No queue. No stranger's server holding your documents. Just results.
One toolbox, twelve jobs
LuniPDF started with the classics — merge, split, compress. It did not stop there. Today the suite covers the jobs people actually face every week:
- Merge PDF — combine many PDFs into one file, in any order you choose
- Split PDF — pull out the pages or ranges you need into a brand-new PDF
- Compress PDF — shrink oversized files so they finally fit in an email attachment
- Organize PDF — reorder, rotate and delete pages before you send
- Rotate PDF — fix sideways and upside-down pages in one tap
- Fill & Sign PDF — it finds every signature, initials and date spot for you; just tap Next and sign
- Add Page Numbers — bottom or top, plain "1" or "Page 1 of 10"
- Watermark PDF — stamp CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT across every page
- JPG to PDF — turn photos and scans into one clean document
- PDF to JPG — turn every page into a sharp image anyone can open
- HEIC to JPG — convert iPhone photos to JPGs that open everywhere, in bulk
- Remove Photo Location — see the GPS coordinates hidden in your photos, and strip them before you share
Twelve tools, and more are added regularly. Whatever the document job is, there is a very good chance LuniPDF already does it — privately.
The promise did not change
Plenty of tools promise privacy. LuniPDF is built differently: the processing itself happens inside your browser, in JavaScript, on your machine. There is no upload step to secure, no server copy to delete later, no retention policy to trust. You do not have to take our word for it — open your browser's network tab while you work and watch: your files are never sent anywhere. The tools even keep working offline once the page has loaded.
That architecture buys speed, too. There is no upload progress bar and no processing queue. Even a 100 MB file starts processing immediately, because the only machine involved is yours. The practical size limit is simply what your device can handle — most browsers comfortably process files up to a few hundred megabytes.
Four jobs from this week alone
The job application. A résumé, a cover letter, three certificates — five files that need to become one polished PDF. Merge them in the order you choose, add page numbers, download, send. Two minutes, and nothing personal ever touched a server.
The contract on your phone. The Fill & Sign tool finds the signature, initials and date fields on its own. You tap Next, sign, tap Next, done — a signed agreement from your phone, without printing a single page and without uploading the contract to anyone.
The scan that bounced. Your email rejected a 38 MB scan. Compress it down to a fraction of the size and send it again — the recipient never knows, and your document never left your laptop.
The photos that would not open. A folder of iPhone HEIC photos that a Windows PC refuses to display. Convert them to JPG in bulk, and strip the hidden GPS location from the ones you plan to post. Private photos stay private — including the data you cannot see.
Free to start, honest after that
Your first 3 uses are included, in total, across all tools — no signup, no account, no watermark stamped on your work. When you are ready for more, LuniPDF Pro unlocks unlimited use, priced below every major PDF brand. That is the whole deal: try everything free, pay less than the big names when you fall in love with it.
Go try it — it takes ten seconds
You do not need to install anything, create an account, or hand over a file to get started. Open LuniPDF, pick a tool, drop in a file, and watch your own browser do the work. If you want the walkthrough version first, read our step-by-step guide; if you want the full privacy argument, read our companion piece on why LuniPDF never uploads your files — both are linked right at the top of this page, and the whole library lives in our blog and guides.
New name. Twelve tools. Zero uploads. That is LuniPDF — and it is only getting started.
