LuniRedact
Cover names, account numbers and faces with solid boxes, then export a new, flattened image. Covered pixels are overwritten — not blurred — and the export carries no EXIF, GPS, XMP or other metadata.
Stays on your device. Your image is processed in this browser tab. This page's security policy blocks it from sending data to any other server. Close the tab or press “Clear image” to wipe it from memory.
1 · Open an image
Choose or drop a screenshot
PNG, JPEG or WebP · up to 30 MB · or paste with Ctrl/⌘+V
2 · Draw redaction boxes
Drag on the image to cover an area. Boxes snap outward to whole pixels so no partial pixel survives at the edges.
Drawing is on: touch-drag draws a box. Turn drawing off to scroll the page on a phone.
Boxes (0)
Add a box by coordinates (keyboard)
Coordinates are image pixels from the top-left corner. Image size: –.
3 · Export
Good to know
- Only what is inside a box is removed. Check the whole image for other copies of the same information (tabs, notifications, reflections, previews, file names).
- The exported file name never reuses your original file name.
- Very large photos (over 16 megapixels) are scaled down first so they work on iPhone; you will be told when this happens.
- Beta: not security-certified. For legal or regulated redaction, have a second person review the export.
