Why people use PixPile

🔎 Search, then act

Use any Google Photos search ("screenshots", "receipts", a year…) and act on every match at once.

👀 Preview first, always

Every job starts as a dry run that changes nothing. You see the plan, then decide.

↩️ Nothing is lost

Items go to Archive (fully reversible) or Trash (restorable for 30 days). PixPile never deletes permanently.

🔒 Your account stays yours

You sign in yourself, on your own computer. Your password and photos never reach us.

How it works

  1. Buy a license for the Google account you want to clean. You get it by email right away, with a download link.
  2. Unzip PixPile, put the license file next to it, and run it.
  3. Sign in to Google Photos in the window that opens — just like you normally do.
  4. Preview a search (start small, e.g. 50 photos), check the plan, then run it for real in batches.

Questions

Do you need my Google password?

Never. You sign in yourself in a normal browser window on your own PC. We never see your password, verification codes or photos.

Can it delete my photos forever?

No. PixPile only archives items or moves them to Google Photos' Trash, where you can restore them for 30 days. After 30 days Google empties Trash automatically — so check Trash in time.

Why not the official Google Photos API?

Since March 2025 the Google Photos API can no longer read or bulk-manage your whole library. PixPile works with the normal photos.google.com website instead, doing what you would do by hand — just much faster.

What does a license cover?

One Google account, for 45 days from purchase — plenty of time to clean up a large library in safe batches. Cleaning another account needs another license.
