Can the watermark be removed?

It is drawn onto each page, so it can’t simply be deleted like a comment — but a determined editor could still cover it. For sensitive documents, also share them only with people you trust.

Which characters can I use?

Letters A–Z (including Western European accents such as é, ñ and ü), numbers and common punctuation. Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic and other scripts aren’t supported yet — the tool tells you if a character can’t be used.
